What time does camp start & end?
Our virtual camp starts at 9AM and run until 4PM.
Do I need any specific equipment or supplies at home?
A sport specific ball is highly recommended for every child, and other activities have been adapted to be able to completed with minimal resources.
How much will I need to be involved?
Parental assistance may be required depending on the age of your child. This may include helping to initially setup on a Zoom video call, and after breaks are taken to sign back on.
What sports will be offered?
Through our virtual medium we will be offering soccer, basketball, and ball hockey activities and drills.
How much time will be spent on Zoom?
Each day there will be approximately 4-5 hours of interactive content, with options to go offline even more throughout the day.
What is the security of Zoom?
Parents will receive an email prior to camp with a meeting ID and password to connect to the virtual camp. Staff will be constantly monitoring participants of each call to ensure only children registered are present.
What is Team Talk?
At Onside we want your child to learn more than how to play a specific sport. After each game your child’s team will participate in a “Team-Talk”. The “Team-Talk” emphasizes character development taught from a Christian perspective.
