Onside Athletics will comply with all Public Health Regulations and will be in constant communication with the local Public Health authorities. In doing so, Onside Athletics will implement the following procedures to maintain a safe and healthy camp environment for all participants, staff, volunteers, and guests. Our current procedures are expected to change as Public Health guidelines continue to adapt. But for now, this is what you can expect.

Pre-Camp “Welcome Email”. This email will contain a Parent Package, payment details, and a reminder of the guidelines we all must follow.

Drop Off Procedures (9AM & Extended Care)

1. Each site will have a “drop-off area” known as the “Loading Zone”.
2. Parents will not exit their vehicle.
3. Staff will speak to the driver of the vehicle and complete the “Active Screening Tool”.
4. Once completed, the camper will exit the vehicle and be safely escorted to their “cohort meeting zone.”

Pick up Procedures (4PM)

1. The campers will congregate at the end of the day in their cohort meeting zone.
2. For a 4PM pick-up parents/guardians will arrive in the Loading Zone and remain with their vehicle.
3. Staff will escort the camper(s) to their vehicle.
4. Staff from a distance will review the ID and sign each child out.

In accordance with Public Health guidelines all campers and staff will be screened upon arrival to camp.

Each day, parents must check their child’s temperature before arriving to camp and be prepared to provide the temperature to the staff upon arrival.

All payments (i.e. camp payment and extended care payments) must be completed by the Friday before your child’s week at camp. Payment can be completed by e-transfer or by credit card. For help with your payment, please email info@onsideathletics.ca or call us at (519) 546-8765.

You can expect the following:

• All campers will be assigned to a cohort, consisting of no more than 8 campers and 2 staff.
• All cohorts will complete daily activities together.
• Each day will consist of drills, physical activity, team challenges and a team talk.
• Cohorts will physically distance from each other.
• As of right now, there will be no off-site trips.
• All campers and staff will be expected to comply with all Public Health guidelines (e.g. social distancing practices, hand washing, etc.).
