Our summer camps are developed with your family in mind. Our camps are aimed at providing your family with excellent summer programming at an affordable rate. Our camps are co-ed and are offered for children ages 4 to 13. On each day your child can expect a morning of sports, a healthy snack, a team talk, and an afternoon that may include off site trips and camp activities. Each week will end with your child experiencing an offsite trip for the entire day. We provide a 6 to 1 camper to staff ratio and our leaders are trained to provide your child a fun and safe experience.
Each week of camp is $140.00. Extended care, before or/and after care, is $6.00/day.
All Waterdown camps will take place out of the Waterdown Youth Centre located at 273 Parkside Drive, Waterdown, ON.
Each morning campers will play soccer at a nearby soccer field.
On each day your child can expect a morning of sports, a healthy snack, a team talk, and an afternoon that may include off site trips (e.g. YMCA, Valens Conservation) and camp activities. Each week will end with your child experiencing an offsite trip for the entire day (e.g. Wild Waterworks).
At Onside we want your child to learn more than how to play a specific sport. After each game your child’s team will participate in a “Team-Talk”. The “Team-Talk” emphasizes character development taught from a Christian perspective.
Waterdown summer camps are a joint initiative between YFC/Youth Unlimited and three local churches (Community Church, Knox Presbyterian Church and Flamborough Baptist Church).
We strive for a 6 to 1, leader to camper ratio for our Tyke and Junior Camps.
Campers and staff will be transported by bus to off site trips.
Each camper will need to bring soccer cleats (or outdoor running shoes), soccer cleats, water bottle, swim attire, towel, sun screen, hat, nut-free lunch, and water bottle.
Your child will receive an excellent week of soccer camp, daily trips/activities and an Onside Summer Camp T-Shirt.
The safety of your child is our first priority. At any swimming trip we ensure that qualified lifeguards are present.
Each camp is divided into two divisions, a younger division and an older division. Your child will play with and against children the same age.
